Beaches and sea in Tuscany
Marina di Castagneto presents many suggestive beaches in which it is possible to have nice and relaxating walks enjoying the sunset in a romantic atmosphere; but they can also become a training centre for sportsmen – from San Vincenzo to Marina di Bibbona there are many km of sandy beach.
Other attractions are the white shores of Vada, an ideal place for beautiful pictures; go by boat to the “Golfo di Baratti” and enjoy a secret swimming; the wild Buca delle Fate, whose high reefs permit acrobatics dives (but if you are not an expert it’s better to just enjoy the view); the famous Castiglioncello, its beaches offer many services to their customers.
It is also possible to have short boat trips towards many beautiful islands such as Elba, Capraia, Giglio and Gorgona.
Countryside
A daily bike trip is the best way to enjoy Nature: reaching Bolgheri is not difficult even for non professional bikers and during the trip it is possible to admire the famous and marvellous Viale dei Cipressi di Bolgheri: once in Bolgheri you can appreciate its great wine in one of the traditional wine cellars.
It is also possible to join organized daily trips showing many cellars thus having the opportunity of discovering the secrets of Italian red wines.
The Hill
You can reach Castagneto Carducci, Sassetta, Monteverdi, Suvereto, by bike or car where you can stop enjoying the fresh local food and wine products, in the woods of oak and chestnut: the famous rustic bread, ham of wild boar, salame, sausages, mushrooms, shallots and jams.
Other adventure services are provided, like hiking or horse riding in the beautiful pine forest of Marina di Castagneto Carducci, not far from “La Toscanella”.
